Button Boot

This button boot was created to explore the history of footwear. I wanted to explore this style and pattern it myself based off of reference photos. I put my own spin on a classic men’s footwear style in order to develop my patternmaking skills.

This boot was a great way for me to explore the history of footwear and connect the dots of the evolution of footwear. I loved problem solving during the pattern making phase to figure out the construction of this boot.
