Hi—
My name is Paige Rimko and I am an accessory and footwear maker and designer. I have been studying the craft full time since 2015 and I’ve thought about it everyday since. I'm just here to make some cool things and maybe inspire someone else to do the same.
In school, I started out with accessories and handbags and moved into footwear, which is where my passion truly lies. I have always wanted unique shoes. From wearing two different colored shoes to 'customizing' my middle school basketball shoes, I've always loved it. Discovering that I could make this my career was the most exciting thing that I could imagine.
Of course, we all have humble beginnings. After my first card wallet project, I quickly realized that I had a long road of learning ahead of me and I could not wait to get stuck in. Since then, that is exactly what I have done. I graduated with a BFA in Accessory Design from Savannah College of Art and Design (SCAD) in 2019 and just recently graduated (covid style) with my MA in Footwear from the London College of Fashion (LCF). I plan on continuing to learn everything I can as I continue on from school.
Throughout my education, I have realized that I have an intense love for color and finding ways to incorporate this in my products. I have a huge respect for the craft, techniques and traditions and I want to use all of this knowledge to bring a new, colorful life to the footwear and leathercraft world.
